A commonality of almost all the world’s hospitals is the waiting room, where families and children are waiting for other family members or for care. Those waiting are worried, bored, tired, and above all, forced to have patience. When we visit hospitals and clinics, we are struck by the how people pass their time. This clip is from the waiting room of a large public hospital in Nairobi, Kenya in July 2012. The lingala music is from a television in the corner of the room.
